Missing Exam Policy: Students are expected to take exams on the day scheduled. I may grant permission to take an essay make-up test if you ask me ahead of time (and have a very good reason). If you do not appear for an exam and have no good reason (e.g., a doctor's note), you will not be able to make up the test.

Attendance: Attendance will not be taken in class; however, much (over 50%) of the material tested will be from class.

All students are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of honesty and integrity in every phase of their academic careers. The penalties for academic dishonesty are severe and ignorance is not an acceptable defense.

THIS SYLLABUS IS A WORKING DOCUMENT. CHANGES CAN BE MADE AT ANY TIME AT THE DISCRETION OF THE INSTRUCTOR.
